Abstract
A cooperative is a business entity that is owned and run by its members for the sake of common interests. The management of the cooperative manually it still has some drawbacks such as the possibility of data redundancy, data loss and the difficult process of moving data. The manufacture of Management Information System for Employee Cooperatives of 13th Public Middle School of Surakarta will provide service and convenience in the process of data processing, financial, administrative, and operational members, with a more transparent and sustainable system. Function that will be made to this information system, among others, the management of the savings book and the credits book, management of the cooperative members, and the processing of the annual report. The method that will be used to establish this system is the waterfall method. The language that will be used to establish this system is PHP and Bootstrap for the website and mySql (phpMyAdmin) for the database. The purpose of creating the Management Information System for Employee Cooperatives of 13th Public Middle School of Surakarta is to simplify and lighten the workload of cooperative administrators so that their performance is more effective. System testing was carried out using the black-box testing method and system usability scale (SUS). The results of the black-box test show that the system functionality is running well and the results of the SUS test are 80.75 which indicates that this system is suitable for use.
