Abstract

Pharmacy is a place where pharmaceutical practices are carried out by pharmacists, such as the buying and selling transactions of medication supplies to the public, both with and without a doctor's prescription. Every transaction, such as the sale of medication, is recorded to assist the business owner in managing the finances of Diva Pharmacy. Diva Pharmacy still employs a manual method, where transactions are handwritten to record each activity, posing risks of errors, unclear, or lost records. Despite being unintentional, these errors can still cause financial losses to the business owner. The objective of this research is to help optimize the daily transaction recording at Diva Pharmacy, which is currently manual, by transitioning to a computer-based system. The study will sample data from transactions at Diva Pharmacy Jambi over several months. The system development will use the SDLC waterfall model to ensure a more directed design with expected outcomes. During the application testing phase, Black-Box Testing and System Usability Scale will be employed. The results indicate that the application is functional, although the final assessment by respondents suggests that it still requires further improvement.
