Abstract

Child adoption is an initiative of married couples who have no offspring. Child adoption must be carried out through a legal process. The purpose of this study is to analyze the legal considerations in the completion of child adoption and the juridical analysis of the judge in the Klaten Religious Court Decision No. 0220/Pdt.P/2023/PA.Klt. The research method used is a sociological juridical approach. The type of research used is descriptive research. The data used is secondary data with data collection techniques in the form of documentation. The data is analyzed by literature study method. The results showed that the judge's legal consideration to resolve the adoption in the Klaten Religious Court Decision No. 0220/Pdt.P/2023/PA.Klt was carried out through the theory of judge's consideration involving the constatir, qualifier, and constituir stages. Juridical analysis of judges based on data with consideration of paragraph 39 section (3) of Law 35 of 2014 concerning child protection as a basic foundation.
