Abstract
Cantik Collection is a confectionery business operating in Tegal district. Data collection and division of tasks at Cantik Collection are still done manually, resulting in customer data often being lost and clothing sewing history becoming disorganized. Based on observations and interviews with confectionery business owners, it is necessary to build an information system that can help tailors streamline the buying and selling transaction process, the process of storing customer data, and distributing assignments. In building the system, researchers used the waterfall method, which consists of several stages, namely the analysis stage by determining needs, design using use case diagrams and activity diagrams, implementation using PHP 8, MySQL, and using the Codeigniter 4 framework. To access the system, users need hardware, both computers and smartphones, that are connected to the internet. The test used is black box testing, with the results showing that each function of the system can run according to its functionality. Apart from that, User Acceptance Test (UAT) testing is also carried out through interviews, with the results of users stating that the features provided by the system are easily recognized so that they are easier to understand. The system also has an attractive appearance. The result of this research is the construction of a web-based assignment system, which is expected after implementation to be able to answer data processing and assignment system problems in the Cantik Collection confectionery business.
