Abstract

One of the impacts of population growth and development that continues to increase si the change in land function such as agricultural area into built-up land. Land change will affect the environment such as an increase or decrease in land surface temperature. The purpose of this study is to analyze the distribution of land cover and land surface temperature and analyze the effect of land cover change on land surface temperature in the study area. This research method uses a field survey method where surveys are carried out for sampling and remote sensing. The method of extracting land surface temperature data uses a Single Channel Algorithm (SCA) that utilizes a single thermal channel. Guided classification uses the maximum likelihood method to obtain land cover data. The results of processing land cover distribution and land surface temperature distribution are carried out descriptive analysis. The effect of land cover change on land surface temperature was analyzed comparatively and simple linear regression correlation analysis. The results showed that the largest land cover change occurred in agricultural areas which decreased in area by 673.3 Ha and built-up land increased in area by 952.8 Ha. Land surface temperature changes in each class, where the temperature class of 26.9 - 29.0 0C has an increase in area distribution of 5,732.2 Ha or 26%. The lowest change occurred in the temperature class of >31.3 0C, experiencing a decrease in area by 293.3 H or 1%. The results of the correlation test show the influence land cover on land surface temperature, where the land cover that has the greatest influence is agricultural areas and built-up land. Regression tests in agricultural areas with land surface temperature determination value (R2) of 74%, while land regression tests built up with land surface temperature obtained determination value (R2) of 68%.
