Abstract
This research aims to describe the image of women in the film Penyalin Cahaya by Wregas Bhanuteja using literary feminism studies. This research is a type of qualitative descriptive research. This research data collection technique uses library research. The data analysis technique used is the semiotic model reading method, namely heuristic and hermeneutic reading. The results of this research show that the image of women in the film Penyalin Cahaya by Wregas Bhanuteja is divided into two sectors, namely the domestic and public sectors. The domestic sector that was found was the image of women as children shown in female characters who were obedient to their parents. The image of women in the public sector in the film Penalin Cahaya is found in four sectors, namely the image of women in the religious sector, the image of women in the education sector, the image of women in the economic sector, and the image of women as survivors of sexual violence
