Abstract
The Messenger of Allah PBUH was sent to lead people out of darkness and into light, making Islam prevail over all others. After his death, Islam successfully spread throughout Arabia and the Companions continued the glory of Islam until it could defeat Persia and Rome. During the Umayyad and Abbasid dynasties, Islam became a very influential power in the world. But at the beginning of the 21st century, Muslims found their enemies ruling over them and dominating the world. Some Muslims think that there is no more victory for Islam. This research seeks to present the true meaning of victory in the Qur'an, which is reserved for the believers and righteous deeds, through research on Surah Aṣ-Ṣaf verse 13, Al-Anbiya' verse 105 and An-Nur verse 55 with muqarran interpretation. The technique of analysis is comparative and the interpretations that are compared are the primary data sources of this literature research, namely the commentaries of Aṭ-Ṭabari and Ibn Kathir, and the secondary data used are translations of it and some other writings on victory. From the interpretation of Surah Aṣ-Ṣaf verse 13, both Aṭ-Ṭabari and Ibn Kathir agree that the believers will receive help from Allah and gain victory in the near future. From Surah Al-Anbiya' verse 105, they agree that the righteous will gain dominion on earth in this world and in the Hereafter. From Surah An-Nur, they agree that the believers and the righteous will rule the earth and human leader. Allah grants them a state of security.
