Abstract

Badan Amil Zakat Nasional (BAZNAS) is a non-ministerial government agency in charge of managing zakat, infaq, and sadaqah. BAZNAS has an important role in improving the welfare of the community, through programs that support the economic progress of the community in Surakarta, BAZNAS has carried out various strategies to support the economic progress of the community. These strategies have had a positive impact on the economic progress of the community in Surakarta. In addition, the increasing tourism sector in Surakarta can be an opportunity for the community to take advantage of opportunities to establish MSMEs. This can be seen from the increasing number of people who have businesses, increasing community income, and increasing community welfare.
