Abstract

The progress of Information Technology in Indonesia has seen substantial advancements, utilized by various entities, ranging from large corporations to small businesses. This technology has been instrumental in streamlining daily tasks, particularly in data processing, thereby enhancing overall efficiency. Among the technologies showing significant potential is the website, which plays a pivotal role in communication and information accessibility. This study aims to address challenges faced by Permata Dental Clinic (Permata Dentalcare) in Sukoharjo, Central Java, which currently relies on less efficient WhatsApp messages. The research endeavors to create a web-based information system featuring real-time queue capabilities and a responsive design. This system aims to simplify patient data management, appointment scheduling, and provide information to patients. The development approach follows the waterfall model, leveraging the PHP programming language and utilizing MySQL as the database. Test results demonstrate the efficient functionality of the system and its readiness for implementation. Notable distinctions from prior studies include real-time queue capabilities, ticket number printing, and a responsive design. This study is poised to positively contribute to enhancing the dental clinic's operational efficiency and elevating the overall patient experience. The black box method is employed for system testing to ensure expected functionality, and the System Usability Scale (SUS) questionnaire measures efficiency and the ability to interact without difficulties or errors. The research culminates in the successful development of a system that optimizes time management in data processing, improves staff performance, minimizes the likelihood of data loss or harm, rendering data management more effective and efficient. System testing validates the expected functionality, and the System Usability Scale (SUS) results indicate an average score of 93.75.
