Abstract

Moral education is very important. For this reason, it must continue to be studied and taught forever. The book Raudhatul Muhibbin by Ibnu Qayyim Al-Jauziyyah is one of the books that contains moral educational values which are believed to be a source of advice for people who fall in love and harbor longings so as not to go beyond limits. Bearing in mind that many sad incidents occur because they are rooted in wrong love issues, such as LGBT, infidelity ending in divorce, early marriage due to pregnancy out of wedlock, jealousy ending in murder and so on. This research uses a type of library research with a theological approach. The data sources used are based on the degree of data, there is primary data and secondary data and based on where the data was obtained, there is library data and online data. Data collection techniques used are documentation. The data analysis method used is that of Miles and Huberman. An outline of the contents of the book Raudhatul Muhibbin by Ibnu Qayyim Al-Jauziyyah translated by Hibbi Hayati, namely that love for Allah ﷻ is the noblest peak of all types of love. Basically, love that is not based on Allah ﷻ will end in suffering and regret. Only love for Him, love for something brings love to Him, namely loving something that He and His Messenger love and making love for something follow love for Him, meaning not loving anything except because of Him which will remain intact on the Day of Judgment. The values of moral education in the book Raudhatul Muhibbin by Ibnu Qayyim Al-Jauziyyah translated by Hibbi Hayati include the values of moral education related to morals towards Allah ﷻ, morals towards angels, morals towards fellow humans and morals towards oneself.
