Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Operational Costs, Operational Income (BOPO), SIZE on the Profitability of Islamic commercial banks. The type of research used in this research is quantitative research, with the dependent variable used being Profitability/Return On Assets (ROA), while the independent variables are Capital Adequacy Ratio/CAR (X1), Operating Expenses Operating Income/BOPO (X2), and SIZE (X3) this research uses secondary data in the form of quarterly financial reports from 4 sharia banks listed on the Indonesian stock exchange, namely Bank Aladin Syariah, Bank Syariah Indonesia, Bank BTPN Syariah and Bank Panin Dubai Syariah. The analysis in this research uses the classical assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis test, hypothesis test. The results of this research show that the Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) has a negative and significant effect on Profitability (ROA), Operational Expenses and Operational Income (BOPO) has a negative and significant effect on Profitability (ROA) and Company Size (SIZE) has a negative and insignificant effect on Profitability (ROA)
