Abstract
Indonesia is a country crossed by the Eurasian plate and the Indo-Australian plate, which causes earthquakes that can occur at any time. This has an impact on the threat of disruption of life and resulting damage to building infrastructure. So because of this, buildings and non-buildings in Indonesia must be designed properly so that they can withstand earthquake forces and can reduce the impact caused by the earthquake. The methods used in analyzing earthquake loads include static equivalent earthquake analysis and dynamic earthquake analysis. Dynamic earthquake analysis is useful for evaluating the performance of a building, especially in high-rise structures with a large number of levels and irregular designs. The purpose of this study is to determine the performance of the structure based on the inter story drift value based on SNI 1726: 2019 and to determine the level of structural performance based on ATC-40 in a 7-story school building. This research also checks the irregularity of the structure. The method used in this research is dynamic response spectrum analysis using ETABS software. The conclusion of this research is that the interstory drift that occurs on several floors exceeds the permit drift set in SNI 1726: 2019 is (0.010hx). The maximum inter story drift that occurs in the x direction is 135,58 mm and in the y direction is 128,15 mm. Based on these results it can be stated that the building has not met the predetermined drift limit requirement (0.010hx). The level of structural performance based on ATC-40 the maximum value of total drift of 0.0065 indicates the level of immediate occupancy performance, while the maximum value of total inelastic drift of 0.0064 indicates the level of demage control performance. Irregularity checking was also carried out on the structure which resulted in the structure having horizontal irregularities of type 1a and 2 and vertical irregularity of type 2.
