Abstract
Films can be an example for human life but can also be a lesson depending on the positive or negative impressions contained in the film scenes. In the context of this research, human values are raised from the Indonesian version of the film Miracle in Cell no. 7. Human values themselves are values that must be practiced in social life. The research discusses human values, namely: the value of love, the value of truth, the value of peace, the value of benevolent behavior and the value of non-violence which are represented in the Indonesian version of the film Miracle in Cell no. 7 where these values are in accordance with Indonesian culture. This research uses the semiotic analysis method by Charles Sanders Peirce. The results obtained are that human values are represented through characters, dialogue and attitudes carried out by all the characters in the film using the theory of Semiotics by Charles Sanders Peirce and the concept of human values from the second principle of Pancasila. Pancasila is the basic value of Indonesian culture which is used as a guideline in the life of Indonesian society and nation so that this human value is relevant to the culture of Indonesian society.
