Abstract
Gadgets are electronic devices that have special functions in their use, which have changed the way humans communicate by exceeding the limitations of space and time. The use of gadgets beyond the time limit can increase health risks. Knowledge is one of the factors that can influence gadget use behavior. So it is necessary to have health education about the impact of gadget use on health to students. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect on the level of knowledge of students about the impact of gadget use on health. This type of research is quantitative using total sampling technique. The research method used is a research method with a quasi experimental design in the form of a one-group pretest-posttest design. The population in this study were students of Donoyudan State Elementary School, Kalijambe District, Sragen Regency grades 5 and 6 totaling 43 students. Data analysis used Paired Sample T-Test using SPSS software because the data was normally distributed due to p>0.05. The result of this study is p value = 0.001 < α = 0.05 which means that there is an effect of health education on students' knowledge about the impact of gadget use on health at Donoyudan State Elementary School, Kalijambe District, Sragen Regency.
