Abstract

Selo is the name of one of the sub-districts located in Boyolali Regency. Selo District has the advantage of being an area that has attractive natural tourism potential. However, several tourist attractions in Selo sub-district need to develop natural tourism villages to attract tourists and increase tourism, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) in the area. This natural tourism village in Selo sub-district carries the concept of community empowerment, where the main activity of tourism UMKM comes from the local community and the results will also belong to the local community. This research aims to analyze the use of natural potential in Selo sub-district to develop tourism, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) in Boyolali by assessing three aspects, namely tourist attraction, accessibility and amenities. To formulate a strategy for utilizing the natural tourism potential of Selo sub-district, Boyolali, a Business Model Canvas analysis management strategy was carried out. Business Model Canvas which uses 9 elements consisting of customer segments, value propositions, channels, customer relations, revenue streams, key resources, key activities, key partners and cost structure. Based on the analysis carried out, a strategy can be formulated that can be applied to natural tourism in Selo sub-district. The main strategy was formulated in utilizing the natural tourism potential of Selo sub-district, namely by carrying out construction, repair and maintenance but still maintaining the beauty and sustainability of natural tourism in Selo sub-district as a tourist attraction so that it is hoped that this can develop tourism UMKM in Selo Boyolali.
