Abstract

Cylinder Bucket is an actuator in a hydraulic system excavator which is located in the arm or arm excavator. Cylinder bucket combined with hose which drains the flow of hydraulic oil coming from main pump up to cylinder bucket which has the function to move bucket on excavator. On cylinder bucket There are main components namely barrel, piston rod, piston, cylinder head, seal and o-ring. The purpose of this analysis is to determine the type of damage, cause of damage and repair steps for the bucket cylinder on the Komatsu PC75UU-3 excavator unit. The inspection procedure is to carry out a performance test and check visually, then carry out the disassembly process to check the components in the bucket cylinder so that it can find out the damage that has occurred to the bucket cylinder. After carrying out the disassembly and checking the bucket cylinder components, it was found that the components were damaged, namely the seals, causing hydraulic oil leaks in the bucket cylinder. The corrective step is to replace a new seal or reseal. Steps to prevent damage is by doing maintenance on a regular basis.
