Abstract

Indonesia is a country rich in natural resources, including the ocean, sun, beaches and land. One way to take advantage of this is to develop the area into an attractive tourist destination. The aim of the research is to map the potential of beach tourism objects in Pringkuku District, Pacitan Regency and analyze the directions for developing potential beach tourism objects in Pringkuku District, Pacitan Regency. This research includes descriptive research using survey methods, by conducting surveys in the field to see the characteristics and conditions of the field. Based on the results of the research conducted, there are several conclusions, namely: Pringkuku District has 3 potential beach tourist attractions, namely Srau Beach, Watukarung Beach, Kasap Beach. The results of the internal external classification assessment of the beach that has the highest potential is Srau Beach, the medium classification beach is Watu Karak Beach and the low classification beach is Kasap Beach. The development of tourist attractions in Pringkuku District is carried out by improving and adding existing facilities and infrastructure to make it easier for visiting tourists. The presentation of information must be managed in such a way that it can increase tourist visits
