Abstract
Gemolong District, which is the connecting link between the main routes between Sragen City to Salatiga City and Surakarta City to Purwodadi City, the intersection between the routes in Gemolong District is experiencing increasingly rapid regional development. The aim of this research is to analyze land use changes in Gemolong District, Sragen Regency in 2012nand 2021 andnanalyzenthe distribution pattern of landnuse changes in Gemolong District, Sragen Regency in 2012 and 2021. The method used in this research is to carry out image interpretation and to validate image interpretation results using field surveys. The imagery used 2-A sentinel imagery in 2012 and 2021. Overlay is used to combine digitized data in 2012 and 2021. Analyze the distribution pattern of land use changes using the Average Nearest Neighbor (ANN) method. The results of this research show that the biggest change in land use is residential land use with an area of 264,994 Ha which has experienced an increase in area, while the use of rice fields with an area of 159,407 Ha and the use of shrub land has decreased in area of 105,587 Ha. The distribution pattern of land use changes in 2012 and 2021 which produces a value of 0.748179 of this value is included in the clustered pattern class
