Abstract

Most crackers are dried using natural methods, namely by utilizing heat from the sun. The drying process will be hampered when the rainy season arrives, which will result in a decrease in cracker production. Natural drying will also affect the hygiene of crackers due to dust. This IoT-based cracker dryer was created to make it easier to produce crackers, especially in the drying process, without being affected by weather changes. The components in this tool are a Heater as a heat producer, a DHT22 temperature sensor to detect the temperature produced by the Heater, a NodeMCU ESP8266 as a microcontroller/component controller, the Buzzer itself will sound when the specified time has reached the maximum limit and there is also an LCD as a display of the set temperature. has been read by the sensor. This tool can also regulate temperature and can be monitored via the Blynk application on a smartphone. If the crackers or karak are dried using the heat of the sun for 1 day, they will be drier than if they were dried using a tool. The advantage of this tool is that it is more effective because it is not affected by the weather and can maintain the hygiene of the crackers.
