Abstract

This research is motivated by the author's interest in the thoughts of KH.Ahmad and KH.Mas Mansur in viewing the values of Islamic education. The results of the thoughts of these two figures enabled the Muhammadiyah organization to develop rapidly and progress, especially because of the values of modern Islamic education that they developed. The value of Islamic education is very important in educating individuals in accordance with the life guidelines in the Al-Qur'an and Hadith. The development of religious education learning in schools is very necessary considering that religious education is expected to be able to overcome various problems related to the moral and moral crisis of students. This research aims to: 1) Describe the values of Islamic education according to KH. Ahmad Dahlan. 2) Describe the values of Islamic education. 3) describe the similarities and differences in the concept of the value of Islamic education according to KH.Ahmad Dahlan and KH.Mas Mansur. This research is included in descriptive qualitative research because the data obtained is in the form of writing, words, images, photos with the type of library research by collecting, examining and analyzing data, documents or works related to the research object. The research results of the concept developed regarding Islamic education according to KH.Ahmad Dahlan are about the perfection of character that is born within humans themselves. The values of Islamic education include values regarding character (morals), social values and community values. In implementing the experience of educational value, the main thing that needs to be carried out is the method of providing example as a learning uswah hasanah for humans. Meanwhile, according to KH. Mas Mansur, the concept of the value of education is how humans should not be arrogant when they have gained knowledge and can control their desires. The values of Islamic education that need to be studied are social religious education and moral education. KH. Mas Mansur applied the values of Islamic education by carrying out the ta'awun (mutual help) movement by paying attention to orphans and poor people, creating a health center and forming a Muhammadiyah nurses association.
