Abstract

The purpose of this research is to: 1) Know the application of muri-Q method in SDIT Muhammadiyah Al-Kautsar; 2) Knowing the result of application of muri-Q method in SDIT Muhammadiyah Al-Kautsar 3) Knowing the obstacle of application of muri-Q method at SDIT Muhammadiyah Al Kautsar. The type of this research is qualitative descriptive by using three data analysis. The method used in this research is the method of observation, interview and documentation. The results of this study indicate the school is carrying out the muri-Q method every day with time allocation (30 minutes). Application of the muri-Q method in the tahfidz and Iqro’ program of students in groups by group and classically. Constraints faced in applying the method of tahfidz Al-Qur'an is: 1) The ability of different children; 2)The influence of social media and electronic media; 3) The lack of murojaah; 4) The teacher does not have the capacity in the field tahfidz and Iqro’ Al-Qur'an; 5)The lack of teachers in guiding tahfidz and Iqro’ learning. Results from the application of the method of muri-Q to grade 2 is already memorized up to 1 juz and other achievements..
