Abstract

Sukoharjo Regency has an agricultural land area of around 40,160 hectares. The use of rice fields in the Sukoharjo Regency area in 2022 will reach 20,451 hectares. Along with the increase in population, Sukoharjo Regency experienced a change in the function of agricultural land to non-agricultural land. The method used is the tiered quantitative method, the tumpeng stacking or overlay method, and the cross table method and to determine accuracy with field conditions, a field survey was carried out. Carry out an assessment to determine the potential of the land based on its parameters, namely slope slope, lithology, soil type, hydrogeology and disaster vulnerability. The land potential index for Sukoharjo Regency is divided into 4 classes, namely high class with an area of 3,752 ha, medium class with an area of 27,313 ha, low class with an area of 15,892 ha, and very low class with an area of 2,136 ha. Agricultural land in Sukoharjo Regency is divided into 4 classes, namely high class with an area of 2,452 ha (11%), medium class with an area of 13,197 ha (61%), low class with an area of 5,978 ha (27%), very low class with an area of 174 ha (1%). in Sukoharjo Regency is dominated by non-conforming classes with an area of 14,104 ha or 65%. Meanwhile, the class that corresponds to agricultural land has an area of 7,736 ha or 35% for rice productivity.
