Abstract
Background: HAZARD IDENTIFICATION RISK ASSESSMENT & DETERMINING CONTROL (HIRADC) is an important element in the occupational safety and health management system because it is directly related to efforts to prevent and control hazards which are used to determine occupational safety and health objects and plans. Purpose : This research aims to evaluate the implementation of the HAZARD IDENTIFICATION RISK ASSESSMENT & DETERMINING CONTROL (HIRADC) method for workers at PT. Wijaya Karya Beton Tbk. (WIKA Beton) Boyolali. Method : The method used in this research is descriptive with a case study approach. The object of this research is the process of implementing the HIRADC method for workers at PT. Wijaya Karya Beton Tbk. (WIKA Beton) Boyolali. Research results : he results of this research show that the company has implemented HIRADC in the production process. There are three stages that have the greatest risk assessment, these stages are the process of making concrete mix (mixing), the process of compacting the concrete (spinning), the process of opening the product (release). The risk assessment at these three stages is dominated by dangers that result in serious injury or death. Meanwhile, the risk level which results in moderate injury to light injury has a greater chance than the risk which results in serious injury or even death. Suggestions: This research suggestion is to ensure that companies provide and guarantee health for workers, operators carry out work in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Work Instructions (IK) in operating equipment, discipline in the use of PPE when carrying out work processes.
