Abstract
The purpose of this research is to prove the role of sense of humor and creativity as predictors of work stress in employees. This research involved 111 employees who filled out a questionnaire online via Google Form. The technique used in sampling in this research was random sampling technique. The results of the research show that a sense of humor and creativity play a negative role in work stress experienced by employees as evidenced by the f test and t test values which obtained F count = 26.060 and F table = 3.08 (F count > F table) which means Sense of humor and creativity influence work stress simultaneously. The t test obtained the results of t count X1 = -2.248 while t count and the regression coefficient for the Sense of Humor variable is -0.127 and -0.303 for the creativity variable. The effective contribution of the sense of humor and creativity variables to work stress is 33.6%. Creativity has a greater role (19.5%) than sense of humor (13.1%). The results in this research indicate that sense of humor and creativity have a negative role as predictors of work stress experienced by employees, which means that increasing the level of sense of humor and creativity in employees has a direct impact on reducing the level of work stress experienced by employees.
