Abstract
As businesses in the field of photography develop, businesses in this field are starting to become popular, and this field is in great demand. One of them is providing photography services. The problem currently occurring at North Cinema Surakarta is that recording errors often occur because orders and recording are still done by hand, which causes the risk of errors to be high. The aim of this research is to develop a system for ordering services and recording data that will be used to facilitate the running of business carried out by North Cinema Surakarta. Researchers designed an information system for ordering photography and videography services at North Cinema Surakarta which makes it easier for customers to order photography services and also makes it easier for the admin to record orders. The author uses the prototype method to meet the needs of this research. The system designed produces an online ordering process that is easy to understand and fast and precise bookkeeping. System development was carried out using a prototype development model supported by the CodeIgniter framework and the PHP programming language. The system was tested using 2 test methods, namely Black Box testing which showed that the functional results of the system were running properly and SUS (System Usability Scale) testing which produced a value of 81.3 which was included in the adjective rating excellent. The existence of this information system makes North Cinema Surakarta activities more effective and efficient in data collection.
