Abstract
The use of the internet in the era of digitalization 5.0 is very important. Therefore, almost all levels of society need internet access to facilitate community mobility in meeting their needs. Meanwhile, not all levels of society can use internet access. One of the factors for uneven internet access is that the costs tend to be expensive and the coverage of internet access providers or providers is not evenly distributed, one of which is in Bangunharjo village, Pulisen, Boyolali. Therefore, to save costs and expand internet coverage, network installations and hotspots are made for the community in Bangunharjo village, Pulisen, Boyolali so that people can have easy and economical internet access. The method used in this research is PPDIOO (Prepare, Plan, Design, Implement, Operate, and Optimize) using a Mikrotik router and configuration using the winbox application. Mikrotik routers are used because they are cheaper and easier to configure. Meanwhile, winbox is used for configuration because it has a Graphic User Interface (GUI) making it easier for the admin to configure the proxy router. Cost suppression is done by sharing bandwidth from an internet provider or provider so that people who subscribe can make payments with fees. The bandwidth that is shared is 30Mbps and the monthly fee is IDR 310,00.00 including taxes, then for bandwidth sharing in the hotspot area or the main router located in the coffee shop is configured at 10Mbps at a cost of IDR 104,000.00 and each house is 5Mbps at a cost of IDR 52,000.00. With this bandwidth sharing, the community can reduce the costs incurred for subscribing to internet access.
