Abstract

Waroeng Gandroeng has a very unique and interesting restaurant concept, namely a traditional concept. The development of marketing communications today is not only traditional, but marketers today also use new media, such as social media. The aim of this research is to find out what the communication strategy in social media is like as a marketing process on Instagram in promoting Waroeng Gandroeng culinary delights, as well as to find out Waroeng Gandroeng's attention, interest, desire and actions in attracting consumer interest. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative methods using purposive sampling techniques. This research uses 5 concepts, namely marketing communication strategies which include Advertising, Sales promotion, Public relations and publicity, Personal selling and Direct marketing and The Circular Model of Some. Apart from that, this research uses an interview method with sources in collecting data. Based on the results of the research and discussion, it is known that Waroeng Gandroeng's planning to use Instagram as a promotional media provides extraordinary benefits, which can be seen from the increasing number of visitors.
