Abstract

Based on the results of observation and evaluation, the test and measurement model in Pencak silat is still general and does not reflect the needs of Pencak silat matches. There is no valid measuring instrument, especially in measuring the performance of special skills of Pencak silat athletes. There is no special speed test procedure similar to the conditions and demands of the match in Pencak silat sport. The research method used is a quantitative descriptive research method, which is research that answers is carried out to answer existing problems about circumstances or conditions as they exist in the field in the event to be studied. Based on the data of the analysis table of the pencak silat special speed test measuring instrument Based on the calculation results obtained from the test data conducted, it was concluded that there was a high level of validity for the Pencak silat special speed test obtained a significance validity of 0.05 and the Running-based Anaerobic Sprint Test obtained a significance validity of 0.05, where the debut test can be used in Pencak silat sports. Based on the calculation results obtained from the test data conducted, it was concluded that there was a high level of validity for the special speed test Pencak silat obtained a reliability of 0.785 and the Running-based Anaerobic Sprint Test obtained a reliability of 0.918, where the debut test can be used in Pencak silat sports.
