Abstract

Some of persuasive communication need to apply by Dinas Kebudayaan dan Pariwisata Kota Surakarta as a integrated marketing communication strategy of Solo Menari. Solo Menari event is expected to become a world event who can be visited by tourist from many regions. The purpose of this research is get to know about integrated marketing communication who applied by Dinas Kebudayaan dan Pariwisata Kota Surakarta to promotion of Solo Menari. This research uses a qualitative desciptive approach with interviewing committee of Solo Menari, Head of Art and Culture Division of DISBUDPAR Surakarta, also artist. Methods of this research is interviewing key person, documentation, and observation. Data sample of this research is purposive sampling and the results of this research is there are six promotion tools who used by Dinas Kebudayaan dan Pariwisata Kota Surakarta, like advertising, sales promotion, public relations, direct marketing, online and media social marketing, also event. Based on using some promotion tools by Dinas Kebudayaan dan Pariwisata Kota Surakarta, Solo Menari event has been choice into KEN (Karisma Event Nusantara) who launched by Kementerian Pariwisata dan Ekonomi Kreatif and Badan Pariwisata dan Ekonomi Kreatif Republik Indonesia.
