Abstract
Al-Qur'an literacy is a person's ability to read, write, memorize, and understand the Al-Qur'an so that he can practice the Al-Qur'an in everyday life in order to worship Allah SWT. Al-Qur'an literacy is important because the Al-Qur'an is a way of life for Muslims. The researcher formulated two problems in this study, namely how the Al-Quran literacy program is an effort to increase the religiosity of Muslim teachers at SMA Negeri 1 Baturetno, and how the results of the Al-Quran literacy program are as an effort to increase the religiosity of Muslim teachers at SMA Negeri 1 Baturetno. This study aims to describe the Al-Qur'an literacy program as an effort to increase the religiosity of Muslim teachers at SMA Negeri 1 Baturetno, and to describe the results of the Al-Quran literacy program as an effort to increase the religiosity of Muslim teachers at SMA Negeri 1 Baturetno. The type of research used is field research with a phenomenological approach. Sources of data for this research include spiritual mentors, supervisors of Al-Qur'a literacy programs, and several Muslim teachers. Data collection techniques used in this study are observation, interviews, and documentation. The Al-Qur'an literacy program was originally formed to fill in the finger gaps/absences of teachers during the pandemic. In addition, this Al-Qur'an literacy program is a place for Muslim teachers to learn to read the Al-Qur'an properly and correctly. The Al-Qur'an literacy program in SMA Negeri 1 Baturetno is learning the Ummi, tahsin, and tahfidz methods. The Ummi method was chosen because the nearby Qur'an griya uses the Ummi method and there is one teacher who is Ummi certified. The results that Mr/Mrs Teacher felt after participating in the Al-Qur'an literacy program, Mr/Mrs Teacher became able to know how to read the Al-Qur'an according to their tajwid and tahsin. Before participating in the literacy program, there were teachers who did not know the hijaiyah letters, there were also those whose reading of the Qur'an was fluent but their tajwid was still not correct. This Al-Quran literacy program is supported by adequate facilities and the enthusiasm of the teachers to learn the Al-Qur'an. The obstacle faced by the teacher during the Al-Qur'an literacy program was the adjustment of the teacher's free time which was different because teaching and learning activities had returned to how they were before the pandemic.
