Abstract

In an era of continuing construction progress, research continues to develop concrete with superior characteristics. The main focus is to improve the quality, strength, and efficiency of the use of concrete in construction projects. One of the approaches used is the addition of additional materials to enhance the mechanical properties of concrete. The aim of this study was to analyze the use of glass powder as an additive material in concrete manufacturing, with variations in the presentation of the supplementation of glass Powder of 0%, 5%, 10%, and 15%, with the life of concrete set at 28 days. In each of these variations, the three test objects were made of a cube with dimensions of 15 x 15 X 15 cm and a beam with dimensions of 60 x 15 x 15 cm. Tests are carried out to measure strong pressure, sliding strength, and concrete absorption. Based on the results of the study, a strong value of concrete pressure was obtained with the addition of glass powder at 0% of 30.22 MPa, 5% of 32.15 MPa, 10% of 32.89 MPa, and 15% of 21.33 MPa. The resulting sliding strength of concrete with the addition of 0% glass powder is 4.80 MPa, 5% of 4.89 MPa, 10% of 4.91 MPa, and 15% of 4.98 MPa. While the absorption of concrete with the addition of glass powder at 0% is 2.26%, 5% is 2.21%, 10% is 1.96%, and 15% is 1.55%,
