Abstract
The world of manufacturing industry is growing rapidly causing the need for machine tools to increase. One of the most widely used in the industrial world is the CNC Mini Router Machine. The machining process on a mini router CNC machine does not run effectively and efficiently, this is because the arm part of the mini router CNC machine cannot reach the maximum steps or bed lengths when carrying out the machining process. The purpose of this research is to redesign and manufacture a CNC Mini Router Machine Arm Part to maximize the steps or reach of the bed using the Reverse Engineering Method. Based on the results of the study, it is known that the re-designed parts of the CNC Mini Router machine arm have a reach of 477 from the previous range of 375 mm or the arm reach increased 19.43% from the initial condition. When viewed from the total length of the CNC Mini Router machine table which is 525 mm, the reach of this design arm can reach 90.85%, which means it is more effective than the old machine arm which is only 71.42%.
