Abstract

Da'wah is a process of conveying, inviting or appealing to other people or the community to consciously embrace, study and practice religious teachings, so as to awaken and restore the potential of human nature. In the Qur'an there is an-nahl verse 125 which discusses the method of da'wah. In preaching, misunderstandings are repeatedly found in understanding the delivery of the da'i so that there is fear of prolonged upheaval if there is no foundation for understanding the method of da'wah. The purpose of this study is to examine more deeply about Surat an-nahl verse 125 from the perspective of al-Misbah and al-Maraghi's interpretations, then compare and summarize the similarities and differences. This research is library research, namely research conducted on the literature of the book of interpretations related to the issue of Surah an-Nahl verse 125. The research method used is comparative where the primary source in this research is the books of interpretation, namely the book of Tafsir al-Misbah and the interpretation of al-Maraghi While the secondary sources are books that have something to do with these problems. Based on the data analysis carried out, the conclusion of the Da'wah Method in Surah An-Nahl Verse 125 (Comparative Study Between Tafsir Al-Misbah and Tafsir Al-Maraghi) is that the delivery of material must be delivered in language that is easily understood by listeners. There are 3 methods contained, namely the Wisdom method (wise words), the Mau'idhzah Hasanah method (good advice) and the Jidal method (debate). With equality conveyed openly and gently. The different interpretations of al-Maraghi did not specify who to apply to and did not pay attention to threats from polytheists, in contrast to al-Misbah's interpretation of adapting to the situation and conditions of society which was carried out openly with great enthusiasm so that the essence of Islamic teachings touched the hearts and minds of the people. politely spoken.
