Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of transparency, accountability and principal leadership on the performance of public junior high school teachers in Jumantono District. This study uses a quantitative approach with a causal research design. The total population was 98 public junior high school teachers in Jumantono District. The sampling technique used is a saturated sample in which the entire population of 98 teachers will be sampled. Data were collected by giving questionnaires to respondents. Data analysis techniques used in this study were descriptive statistical analysis, instrument analysis, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression test and hypothesis testing. The results showed that 1) Transparency partially has no effect on teacher performance with a t value of 0.1331 < t table 1.66088, 2) Accountability partially has no effect on teacher performance with a t value of 0.939 < t table 1.66088, 3) Principal leadership partially has a positive and significant effect on teacher performance with a t value of 2.421 > t table 1.66088, 4) The result shows that transparency, accountability and principal leadership simultaneously have no effect on teacher performance with an F value < F table or 2.308 < 2.70.
