Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of information technology, investment knowledge, and overconfidence on student decisions to invest in the Indonesian capital market. This research was conducted on students of the Accounting Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Muhammadiyah University, Surakarta. The method used in this study is a quantitative research method, with the aim of the sampling technique being data collection techniques. There were 43 respondents who were obtained from distributing questionnaires through the Google form. The data analysis used is the SPSS (Statistical Program for Social Science) program. The results of this study indicate that information technology and investment knowledge have no effect on investment decisions. Meanwhile, overconfidence has a positive effect on investment decisions.
