Abstract

This study aims to test the effectiveness of self-management technique to reduce student learning burnout levels of online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. An experimental study of one-group pretest-posttest design with the hypothesis that self-management techniques are effective in reducing the level of student learning burnout during online learning. The subjects of this study were 14 students of Private Junior High School in Kartasura who experienced high level of learning burnout. The measuring instrument for this research is College Student Survey (CSS) scale to determine the level of student learning burnout. Data analysis used the Statistical Product and Service Solution (SPSS) program with the paired sample t-test technique. The results of data analysis showed that self-management technique was effectively able to reduce the level of student learning burnout during online learning with a sig (2-tailed) gain of 0.000 <0.05.
