Abstract
The development of technology is currently growing quite rapidly because in this day and age everything uses technology. Advances in technology are important in finding and accessing information quickly. Information systems result from technological advances. Information systems are used in education, including at Miftahul Huda Private MTs in Kalipucang. Submission of information still uses notification letters or WhatsApp groups so that the information is only known by students so that information cannot be conveyed widely and school registration uses paper forms or via Google Form. This study aims to design and build a website-based information system with various features that can manage data, activities in schools, display school information that can be accessed online so that information can be conveyed to the public and new student registration information online. The method used in this study uses the waterfall method which goes through several stages, namely requirements analysis, system design, writing information system code, testing information systems, and system maintenance. This system uses Bootstrap and Laravel for the PHP framework and MySQL for the database management process. The research uses Blackbox Testing and System Usability Scaled (SUS) testing. The results of the black box testing show that the system can run according to its function by testing the functions that exist in the system, while the SUS test results achieve an average value of 75.77 with 10 lists of questions with several answer choices, namely strongly agree, agree, doubt, no agree, strongly disagree involving 30 respondents and the resulting GOOD category, which means the system is feasible to use. This system can be accessed with the domain address http://mtsmiftahulhudajtb.sch.id/.
