Abstract
The application of occupational safety and health has several aspects that need to be considered, especially during this pandemic in implementing occupational safety and health, that is, every time carrying out work it is mandatory for all members or workers to comply with or implement health protokols and rules that have been set so that for the implementation of safety and health Occupational health (K3) can run well even in the midst of the COVID-19 virus pandemic. Purpose: of this study is to describe the application of work safety to health cadres during the COVID-19 pandemic at the Penumping Health Center in Surakarta and what efforts can be made by cadres to assist the role of the Penumping Health Center in activities during the COVID-19 pandemic. Method: The research used is a descriptive qualitative method with a Narrative Research approach. Place of research at the Penumping Public Health Center in Surakarta City. The time of the study was from January to February 2023. The research subjects were Informants 1, Informants 2 and 3 health cadres. Data collection techniques with interviews, observation, and documentation, using a recorder. Data validity by triangulation of data sources. Results: An overview of the implementation of work safety and the efforts made by cadres in assisting the role of the Penumping Health Center in activities during the COVID-19 pandemic, namely by complying with health protokols for every activity in the community, then always checking whether there are handsanitizers, handwashing stations, masks, at the beginning of the pandemic using faceshields, gloves, and wearing PPE clothes during visits to patients' homes when with cadres, according to the reference in the Decree on Health Protokol Number HK.01.07/Menkes/382/2020 found on page 11 on the prevention and control of COVID-19 in public places and facilities . Conclusion: The application of work safety and the efforts made by cadres in assisting the role of the Penumping Health Center in activities during the COVID-19 pandemic are considered good in implementing work safety regarding health protokols,
