Abstract

The art of batik craft is one of Boyolali's small industries whose licensing is within the authority of the Ministry of Industry and Trade which is located throughout all villages in Boyolali City. Especially Godeg village, Ampel sub-district, Boyolali district which is well-known as a center for batik, areas that produce the most batik and areas that have the potential to establish containers for batik preservation are supported by the characteristics of the villages. satisfaction of meeting basic needs, especially the need for clothing. Batik is a traditional art engaged in clothing produced on the island of Java. Thus it is hoped that batik products will be able to replace the position of oil and gas as Regional Original Income (PAD). According to the Boyolali Regency Trade and Industry Service, the development of Batik Glugu MSMEs has stagnated and even decreased, especially due to the Covid-19 pandemic. continue with batik promotion efforts in Boyolali, the proof is that batik sales are now actually declining. Factors causing the decline in the sales value of Boyolali batik are Boyolali human resources in making batik products that do not keep up with the times, marketing and trading of batik that are less than optimal, lack of promotion of shopping places in the field of batik which are less comfortable for tourists, especially tourists from out of town, while batik shopping areas which is convenient, goods are sold at high prices. Observational Data Collection Methods, Literature Studies, Interviews Data Analysis Methods Analyze data based on planning predictions and relate it to goals and objectives as well as conditions and influencing factors, then discuss using logical solutions, and then problems are described verbally (expressed by words). Determining the Location or Site of Batik Glugu Plaza in Strategic Boyolali Regency, applying a system of approaches to MSME players to determine space requirements, Applying Traditional and Modern Boyolali Architecture Concepts to Batik Glugu Plaza Boyolali Buildings, Implementing Structural and Utilities Systems by Paying Attention to Spatial Requirements and Physical Conditions which is in accordance with the image of Boyolali Regency. making Boyolali a future prospect, the function of Boyolali Regency is in accordance with the long-term goals of the Boyolali Regency Master Plan which is to realize the status of the Regency to become: Center for Hinterland activities as a residency of Surakarta, Central Java Cultural Arts Center, Central Java Cultural Arts Center Keywords: batik, plaza, MSMEs
