Abstract

The river in Golantepus village, Kudus district is a river that flows from the upper reaches of Mount Muria to the lower reaches of the Wilalung reservoir, although it is not a large river, its water source is used as irrigation for the rice fields in Golantepus village. Useful as a source of water for rice fields, at the beginning of 2023 there was a fairly large flood which caused some of the embankments to break and one of the causes was the overflow of river water intensity in Golantepus village. Therefore, an IoT-based monitoring tool for discharge, volume and water surface distance was created. The purpose of this research is to determine the water condition in the Golantepus village river automatically which can be monitored via telegram. The method used in this research is direct observation to the place. The next method is planning a suitable tool for the Golantepus village river, then immediately applying it to a tool that displays the discharge, volume, and distance of the water surface. Based on the test results, the i2c LCD displays the discharge and distance to the water level. For the HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensor, it reads the distance to the water surface that has been set, if a distance of <50cm is dangerous and >50cm is safe, then the waterflow sensor reads the water discharge, how many liters per minute is produced by the flow of water in the river, the two sensors send signals to the i2c LCD and send notifications and messages through the telegram bot that has been made.
