Abstract

Musuk District is a sub-district located in Boyolali Regency, Central Java. Musuk sub-district is prone to landslides. This is because Musuk District is located on the slopes of Mount Merapi so it has relatively steep slopes. This study uses the GIS application to analyze the level of landslide vulnerability. The parameters used in Musuk District were soil type, slope, land use, rainfall, geomorphology. Research objectives 1) To analyze the distribution of landslide vulnerability levels in Musuk District, 2) To analyze the dominant factors that influence landslide vulnerability in Musuk District. This study uses a method that is a survey with a unit of analysis of the level of vulnerability. In this study, samples were taken using the stratified random sampling method by dividing the area into strata based on land units. Data analysis was carried out using several methods, including tiered overlay analysis, frequency table analysis, landslide hazard analysis, and also involved field surveys. The results of this study are that there are 3 levels of landslide vulnerability, namely less prone, prone, very vulnerable. The level of vulnerability that dominates Musuk District is prone with an area of 6084 Ha. The dominant factors causing landslide vulnerability in Musuk District are soil type and land use with a proportion of 26.78%. The type of soil in Musuk District is a type of soil that is easily eroded and has a thickness of 30 cm. If land use is not appropriate, landslides will occur.
