Abstract

P.T. MS Madani Shantika is a transportation service company, particularly in the field of tourism, located in Madiun. Currently, the reservation process for their tourism buses is manual, either requiring customers to visit the office in person or make reservations through telephone calls. This manual process has led to difficulties in managing incoming requests, resulting in many customers being disappointed due to not getting their desired bookings. The objective of designing an Information System for Tourism Bus Reservation at P.T. MS Madani Shantika is to facilitate customers in making reservations for their tourism buses. The proposed design follows the waterfall method or the classic lifecycle model, which advocates a structured approach to system design. Initial testing of the system using the black box method yielded positive and valid results for each input-output of the system. The second testing, using the System Usability Scale, rated the system with a grade C level (70-80), with an average score of 72.1.
