Abstract
Education is a formal and informal learning process that seeks to educate, impart knowledge, and cultivate the inherent potential of every person. then the learning process is better understood. In addition, education is an effort to change the attitude and behavior of a person or group by growing maturity through both the training process and the learning process. The learning process can not only be carried out in the educational environment but can be carried out outside the educational space. Aquaculture education center is an idea that functions as a place of education about everything that is closely related to water, such as related to natural resources related to water. The background to the design of the Klaten Aquaculture Education Center is the abundance of natural resources in the city of Klaten. Among the wealth of natural resources in Klaten are springs which are scattered in many areas and also the results of the cultivation of fresh water fish farmers in the city of Klaten. The purpose of the need for the idea of the Klaten aquaculture education center is as a means of community education center and also as a center to accommodate the activities of freshwater fish farmers such as counseling activities, association of members of Klaten freshwater fish farmers and also as a forum for increasing sales or distribution of fish crops in clan city.
