Abstract
Each school has various forms of Islamic school culture. One form of Islamic school culture is the Qur'an taddarus activity or now often referred to as the Qur'an Literacy activity. Like at SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Baturetno which has implemented Qur'an Literacy activities every morning. It aims to form the habit of students reading and memorizing verses of the Qur'an in everyday life and improve the ability to read the Qur'an of students. Based on the background of the problem, a problem formulation was obtained: how to apply Qur'an Literacy at SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Baturetno and whether there are results of Qur'an Literacy in realizing Islamic school culture in students of SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Baturetno. The purpose of this study is to describe the application of Qur'an Literacy at SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Baturetno and identify the results of Qur'an Literacy in realizing Islamic school culture in SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Baturetno. This type of research is qualitative research that is field research with a phenomenological approach. This research is based on the phenomenon seen at SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Baturetno as a place of research. In collecting data using observation techniques, interview techniques and documentation techniques. Qur'an literacy in students of SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Baturetno is applied every day before the first hour of KBM starts with a duration of 15 minutes. The method of applying Qur'an Literacy is to read the Qur'an independently and individually. As well as memorizing some selected verses in the Qur'an that are in accordance with the curriculum of the subjects of the Qur'an and Hadith. While the results of the form of Islamic school culture in students include the form of ideas, forms of activity, and physical forms. The form of ideas includes the hope of schools so that students experience increased abilities in BTA and invite school residents to give views that the Qur'an is used as a guide in life. The form of activity including the form of activity can be observed through the discipline attitude of students of SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Baturetno in carrying out Qur'anic literacy. Physical forms include the form of achievement of students in the Tartil and Tilawah Branch MTQ competitions at the sub-district level.
