Abstract

PT. Iskandar Indah Printing Textile is a company that produces gray cloth, but there are obstacles to the company, namely the efficiency and effectiveness of existing production, ha it can be seen that there is production cost planning at the company. The purpose of this research is to provide a design of future production costs using the objective matrix and target costing methods that can maximize production efficiency and effectiveness. The Objective Matrix (OMAX) is used to find out the criteria that cause the lack of production efficiency and effectiveness, and improvements are made by planning costs using target costing. The result of this research is improvement of production cost planning with objective matrix and value engineering on target costing. So we get production costs with value engineering at target costing of IDR 28,049,701,500 and cost efficiency of IDR 897,961,950 when compared to previous financing. As well as being able to increase the percentage of company profits from 57% to 58% even though by changing the production price of Rp. 200, -.
