Abstract

Marketing BMT XYZ plays an important role in the sustainability of the cooperative as a means of fundraising and channeling funds. Employees in the marketing department are required to meet the targets set by the cooperative. Because there are many members who are less active and do not utilize or use the products of the cooperative, the targets of the cooperative have not been met, so marketing is required to try as much as possible to find strategies. This results in marketing often feeling stressed, anxious, and pressured to carry out its demands. This study aims to determine the level of mental workload and work fatigue in fundraising marketing and fund distribution marketing, to determine the relationship between mental workload and work fatigue, and to provide suggestions for improvement. This research uses the NASA-TLX and SOFI methods. Based on the NASA-TLX questionnaire, the mental workload for marketing fundraising is included in the high category, while the mental workload for marketing fund distribution is in the very high category. Based on the SOFI marketing questionnaire, fundraising and marketing fund distribution fall into the moderate exhaustion category. From the results of the correlation test, there is no relationship between mental workload and work fatigue in fundraising marketing and fund distribution marketing. Proposed improvements include giving bonuses every 6 months, carrying out fatigue management, holding routine medical tests, participating in joint sports activities, giving appreciation, and taking 15–30 minutes power naps.
