Abstract
Changes in land use that occur in one area to another are different. One of them occurred in Tamansari District. Tamasari District is the result of the division of Musuk District in 2019, which underlies regional division, namely the high population growth in the Musuk District area and also the aspirations that develop in the community are confirmed in Boyolali Regency Regional Regulation No. 18 of 2018. The aims of this study are: (1) ) Analyze the distribution of land use changes that occurred in Tamansari District in the period 2010 and 2021. (2) Analyze the main driving factors of land use change in the period 2010 and 2021. This research method uses a survey method to ascertain land use changes resulting from image interpretation with the situation in the field. The method used in the first objective is qualitative by using SPOT Image by doing Digation and Overlay to determine changes in land use. The second objective analysis method uses interviews to find out the main factors of land use change. The results of the study are: Changes in land use that occurred in Tamansari District from 2010 to 2021 have changed with an area of 1180.1 Ha with a percentage of 27.03%. The remaining land has an area of 3185.6 Ha with a percentage of 72.97%. The type of land use that experienced the most changes, namely settlements, increased with an area of 204.1 Ha with a percentage of 21.45%. Expansion of the area and permits are the dominant factors for land changes. The expansion of the region has an impact on development both in terms of society and self-government.
