Abstract

The word of Communication in the Koran is not clearly stated. However, substantially, many verses of the Qur'an were found explaining about communication. Humans as social beings who in everyday life can not be separated from communication. Communication is very important, because seventy five percent of the time is used to communicate. The phenomenon of communication problems is very common. What is even more interesting is the occurrence of the Viral-Memviralizing phenomenon. Issues of husband and wife, society and even academic issues are no longer properly communicated, whether through legal or familial channels, but rather, spread through their respective social media which will lead to increasingly complicated problems. This study aims to gain knowledge about how the concept of communication according to the perspective of Sayyid Qutb in the interpretation of Fī Ẓilāl al-Qur’ān. The communication theory used in this research is that the concept of communication includes several elements, namely, communicators, communicants, messages, media and effects. The research used a qualitative method with the type of library research which was analyzed using content analysis techniques. The results of this study are, the communicator has indicators that are not exaggerating and understand what is to be conveyed, the message conveyed is a clear and detailed message, is persuasive and touches the soul, does not make false promises, is gentle and elegant, polite and appropriate with the current situation. While the communicant, in receiving messages, must pay close attention, ask for repetition, and be selective. The communication media used are signs, correspondence, and spoken language. Lastly is the effect of communication, namely cognitive and emotional which brings people closer to Allah SWT.
