Abstract

Changes in non-built-up land, which have continued to increase year by year, have finally started to cause problems for the socio-economic conditions of the people in the society. The research aims to (1) know the distribution of changes in the use of non-built-up land into built-up land in Karangmalang District in 2010 and 2021 (2) Analyze the impact of changing non-built-up land into built-up land with socio-economic conditions in Karangmalang District in 2010 and 2021. The research method is a survey method using interviews and questionnaires which are then analyzed with quantitative descriptive analysis in order to obtain data that occurred in the past or present, it will get answers from the community regarding the impacts caused by land change. For map analysis using image interpretation from Google Earth imagery in 2010 and Google Earth imagery in 2021. The result shows that (1) the distribution of built-up land in Karangmalang District is divided into two, which are the highest and lowest classes. The highest class in 2010 was in Kroyo Village was 215.33 ha and in 2021 it was 251.70 ha, while the lowest grade was in 2010 in Saradan Village was 70.63 ha and in 2021 it was 79.70 ha. Karangmalang District in the last 11 years has experienced land changes that can be said to be fast or high, in 2010 the total built-up area was 1592.83 ha and for the total built-up area in 2021 it was 1828.74 ha, there was an increase in the number of built-up lands by 235, 91 ha, (2) the results of the impact of land change on the community in the form of social impacts, namely environmental pollution, crime rates and reduced levels of comfort, for the economic impacts that arise, namely the impact of the type of work and people's income.
