Abstract

PT. Sari Warna Asli Unit I is a company engaged in the textile industry. One of the problems at PT. Sari Warna Asli Unit I, namely there is a main engine that has a low productivity value, so productivity calculations and evaluation are needed to increase the value of machine productivity. This study aims to calculate the level of machine productivity, identify the biggest failure factors that cause the machine to be less productive, and provide recommendations for improvements. The methods used are Overall Equipment Effectiveness, Six Big Losses, and Fuzzy Failure Mode and Effects Analysis. The results of calculating the productivity of continuous bleaching machines in 2022 produce an OEE value of 52.39%. The calculation of six big losses shows that the biggest type of loss is reduced speed losses of 50.56%. The biggest failure is unstable steam with an FRPN of 886. The proposed improvements are that the company sets a minimum standard for the quality of coal caloric content of 7000 calories, checks rubber seals regularly, pays attention to the age of use of rubber seals, lubricates and cleans motor bearings regularly, checking and removing water in the cylinder drying once every 2 weeks, re-checking before the machine is operated and when the machine is operating.
